Farhad Darya’s new album “Yaahoo” that was recorded in Munich, Germany was released in Afghanistan on August second. This album is recorded for the purpose of solidarity among Afghans around the world. According to Mr. Darya the album is to extend the message of peace and unity across the country and it is supposed to be given to public for free.

The album contains eleven songs, six of which are brand new. Two songs (”Gorgore and Salaam Afghanistan”) are Darya’s previous hit songs that are re-recorded in a different style. The other three songs are repeated titles. The album also contains a short track called “Yaaran” in the form of a demo that sends out the message of togetherness. After the introduction of Darya’s new album and a live performance of “Yaahoo” songs a press conference was held at Kabul Serena where Darya answered to the media and questions that were raised by the audience.
